AN NINTENDO KIND OF DAY

We're having an Nintendo kind of day.

Eyes instant glued to screen,

 we sit

like boulders some old glacier left behind,

enveloped by  strange symphonies of
           chirping beeps,

immobile, but for

fingers twitching and eyes

     glazing,

inflicting imaginary deaths on
    phantom enemies en route

              to spectral victories,

as we ourselves become
   the human transistors

 closing

this electric circuit

                       of adventure.

We are having fun I think.

It's an Nintendo

kind of day.
