IN THIS AMERICAN NIGHT

Oh, where are my boys? Scattered somewhere

in this American night, in strange places called

Colorado and Wisconsin, perhaps one in his

dorm, perhaps one in a bar, or in a library, or

in bed with his girlfriend. Can they sense that,

at speeds 10 x faster than the Internet,

their father sits a thousand miles away in

Brookline, in Massachusetts, on his lonely

mountaintop, staring into space, thinking of

them?
