THE GRADER
I am commissar of the couch. (Ivan the Terrible & Stalin, had nothing on me). I sit like a potentate of old, green pen in hand, and with a single stroke consign some to frozen Gulag camps, others to cozy dachas, I point this way and that, a most pitiless judge, deaf to all appeals, moved only by the prospect of a good nosh.
